The Salem/Keizer Coalition for Equality (SKCE) is a multi-racial/ethnic community organization whose mission is to promote equity for our children and families in education and in the community.

• We advocate for respect and civil rights.

• We hold administrators, policymakers and public employees accountable.

• We unite all our communities to speak with one voice for a shared place at the table. 

Many of the injustices in our communities and society can be overcome through the success of all children and youth, especially those of color, in education and in life.

Addressing the issue of educational equity is the critical concern of every person in every community, no matter their age, gender, economic status, family status, work area, race, ethicity, culture, self-interests, or any other category that divides us.
